About us

Zarić Distillery was created at the location and following the tradition of the famous “Povlen” Distillery, whose fame had faded the last two years before the Zarić family came. Despite the tradition of Kosjerić area in orchards and fruit production, various circumstances caused the old “Povlen” to lose its glory. Determined, first of all, to use the potential and tradition of this fruit growing area to the full extent to produce the highest quality brandy, we worked with the full capacity on modernization and restoration of the existing plants for fruit processing and distilling, and therefor increased the needs for fruit farming in this area, as well as the production capacities. The significant financial investments, devotion and desire to merge the highest technology, modern science, experience and old Serbian tradition in a best possible way enabled us to achieve that old “Povlen” shines again as new Zarić Distillery, the most modern brandy distillery in South East Europe.
